A speleology of sound is a web experience where music writes itself in an invented script. Thirty glyphs, drawn for a language that does not exist, become the alphabet of whatever you play: upload a song or let the microphone listen, and the writing unfolds in real time.

The music chooses its own signs. Low sounds leave heavy, rounded forms, high notes trace fine and sharp ones, and silence opens a space between words. Glyphs gather into words and are bound together by thin hairlines, like an ornamental hand. Nothing is ever written the same way twice.

The project began as a question: what would it look like if we could read what we feel while listening?

The visuals were created in 3D, the writing logic prototyped in p5.js, the interface designed in Figma, and the final experience built in code with Cursor.
